Flash procedure for new BIOS and firmware on blank memory:

  1) Boot up in Dos OS and run WIR.bat file.
  2) Power cycle the system and reboot in DOS OS.
  3) Run SMC2008.bat to erase the flash memory and then program the firmware and BIOS.
  4) Enter the last 9 digit of the WWN to complete the flashing. 

Upgrade procedure for BIOS and firmware:

  1) Boot up in DOS and run LIST.bat file.
  2) Record the WWN/SAS addrress of the device.
  3) Run SMC2008.bat to erase the flash memory and then program the firmware and BIOS.
  4) Enter the last 9 digit of the original WWN to complete the flashing.
